On our menu:

  • Spicy bean appetizer
  • Cool cucumber salad
  • Vegetarian Makloubeh (with rice and vegetables)
  • Basbousa, a semolina cake

There will be half-time live entertainment on the Arabic string instrument, the oud.

Make it a party! $160 for a group of four or $100 for two with all ingredients delivered to your door*.

(*Delivery is available to participants in Halifax, Dartmouth, Spryfield, Fairview, Bedford and Sackville only. To provide your own ingredients, the cost is $35 per person for the recipes and the fun online experience!)

Open Harbour Refugee Association

The Open Harbour Refugee Association (OHRA) is a volunteer-run non-profit based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We privately sponsor UNHCR refugees to Nova Scotia and support them financially and socially for one year after arrival. OHRA is a non-profit society under the Nova Scotia Registry of Joint Stocks.
